Cutchins Programs for Children & Families has an opening for a part-time (20hrs./wk.) Cook to prepare and serve dinner Monday-Thursday on our Northampton campus residential program.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Process recycling; Clean up after meals etc.; Support special events including holidays; Submit food orders with vendors as needed; Shop as needed; Maintain Hygiene standards; Daily refrigerator temps; Prep and defrost foods as needed, in accordance with ServeSafe and USDA standards.
The successful candidate will be positive, enthusiastic, patient, flexible, and creative. Must possess strong time management, organization, and cleanliness skills, have experience working with diverse populations and have a positive attitude with strong communications skills, and personal values. Candidates should be self-motivated, reliable with a good work ethic. 1-2 yrs. experience cooking for large groups required, in a residential setting preferred. Employment is contingent upon an appropriate background check and driving record.
